This image was shot with a pre-release Mark III at 3200 ISO (1/1000 @ f2.8). Do you see any noise? Very impressive!

Noise is most apparent with low light levels and especially with tungsten as the red channel needs to be boosted to a greater degree.
I will reserve judgement about the high ISO performance of the Mark III until I can review dozens of RAW files taken under adverse lighting conditions as I have with the 5D (ISO 3200 OK) and Mark II (ISO 1250 OK). I expect that will not be possible until sometime in June. Regards, Bruce Stenman |
