On a SportsShooter thread about “is it the photographer or the camera that makes great pictures”, I really like Jeff Blake’ comment:

A guitarist I was photographing once commented, "Wow, I bet that camera makes awesome photos!" I replied that I bet his guitar made great songs. Hendrix probably had an awesome guitar, but that's not what made him good. He got it.
